Children

I watched the movie Precious last night. Great performances, but very painful and hard to watch. A movie that shows that we are sometimes aware of certain situations, but are too removed from them in our own lives that we forget that they are even occurring to others.

I came across this quote and found the timing to be befitting after watching that movie:

"If our children are to approve of themselves, they must see that we approve of ourselves."-Maya Angelou.
